Carmen Bramlage RICP®
Carmen began her career in financial services in 2005 while accepting a position with New York Life. It was there that her curiosity led to her to understand the positive impact financial planning can make for families and small businesses. She knew from personal experience that unexpected life events can and will happen yet didn’t realize there were ways to mitigate life’s uncertainties. Growing up, her family owned a small construction company. When her father was physically disabled due to an on the job accident or illness, the family’s income was disrupted. To compound the issue, there were mounting medical bills. With no protections in place, life was a constant financial roller coaster. Mitigating these risks and developing a strong financial plan for families and small businesses became Carmen’s mission as she continued in financial services and ultimately to the role of financial planner. She considers it a privilege to work with her clients who have placed their families and businesses in her care.
Carmen has been married to her husband, Ken, for 27 years. They have three children: Derek, Seth and Alissa. Derek and Alissa attend Kansas State University pursuing degrees in mechanical and computer engineering, respectively, while Seth attends Southern Methodist University pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Carmen enjoys travelling with her family, reading, attending the Dallas Symphony and chamber music concerts, as well as being active in her church. And speaking of unexpected life events, Carmen is a breast cancer survivor.
